How much water are you wasting when flushing your toilet? (and what to do about it)

Water is a limited resource — less than 2% of the earths total water supply is fresh water which is available for human use.

97% of the earth’s water is salt water, which is found in oceans.

On average, each American uses 100 gallons of water at home each day.

26.7% of that usage comes from flushing the toilet.

Here is a breakdown for you...

By using Mask bathroom spray before you go, you can be assured you will eliminate embarrassing odors before they begin, so you will only need to flush once. Winning!

  • This a great way. I would also recommend to use dual flushing toilets to avoid wastage. I found best flushing toilets here http://toiletreviews.info/best-dual-flushing-toilets-reviews/

  • It’s hilarious! Thanks for your advise. Everyone need to flush only once whenever needed. We all should use the low flush toilets as well. Many of us using the old flush toilets are a great way of wasting water. Those can waste 2.6 or more gal. per flush. I can share a great list of best low flush toilets in the market of 2017. You must replace your old toilets with these collection: http://simpletoilet.com/best-flushing-toilet/
